On March 13, 2025, the PM18 production line of Wuzhou Special Paper (Hubei) Co., Ltd. successfully started winding with its fully permanent magnet direct-drive motor rewinder. The designed speed is 2500m/min and the width is 8600mm.

The working principle of this rewinder is to generate a magnetic field through current control in the electromagnetic coil, which interacts with the magnetic field of the permanent magnet to produce a rotational torque. This directly drives the relevant components of the rewinder to rotate, thus achieving operations such as rewinding and cutting of paper rolls.
